UPSC CAPF AC 2024 NOTIFICATION RELEASED.

UPSC has released UPSC CAPF AC 2024 Examination Notice No. 09/2024-CPF Dated: 24.04.2024 for recruitment of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) through UPSC CAPF ACs (UNION PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION-CENTRAL ARMED POLICE FORCES (ASSISTANT COMMANDANTS) EXAMINATION, 2024.

2. UPSC CAPF AC 2024 APPLICATION FEE .

Candidates (Except Female/SC/ST Candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay Rs. 200/- Fee.

3. UPSC CAPF AC 2024 VACANCY.

4. UPSC CAPF 2024 AGE LIMIT.

Minimum Age- 20 years.
Maximum Age- 25 years (As on August 1, 2024).
Upper age relaxation is permissible to reserved categories according to related government rules and regulations.

5. UPSC CAPF 2024 SALARY.

Group ‘A’ Scale and Pay Matrix – Level 10 (Rs. 56,100/- to 1,77,500/-)

6. UPSC CAPF 2024 ELIGIBILITY/EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION.

A candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree of a University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section-3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956 or possess an equivalent qualification.

7. UPSC CAPF AC 2024 EXAM PATTERN/SELECTION PROCEDURE/SCHEME.

UPSC CAPF AC 2024 Examination will be conducted in 3 stages; namely:-

Stage-1:- WRITTEN EXAMINATION.
Stage-2:- PHYSICAL STANDARDS/PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TESTS and MEDICAL STANDARDS TESTS.
Stage-3:- INTERVIEW/PERSONALITY TEST.

FINAL SELECTION / MERIT : The merit list will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination and Interview/Personality Test.

STAGE-I: WRITTEN EXAMINATION

NOTE:
1. There will be penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the objective type question paper. There are four alternatives for the answers to every question. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one third of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty.
2. There will be minimum qualifying marks separately in each Paper as may be fixed by the Commission in their discretion. Paper-I will be evaluated first and evaluation of Paper-II will be done only of those candidates who obtain the minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I.

STAGE-II: PHYSICAL STANDARDS/PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TESTS and MEDICAL STANDARDS TESTS

Candidates who are declared qualified in the written examination will be summoned for Physical Standards/Physical Efficiency Tests and Medical Standards Tests.

STAGE-III: INTERVIEW/PERSONALITY TEST

Candidates who are declared qualified in the Medical Standards Tests, will be called for Interview/Personality Test. Interview/Personality Test will carry 150 marks.
